PRAYER SHAWL MINISTRY
The Prayer Shawl Outreach Ministry knit or crochet prayer and baptismal shawls, blankets and hats.  They have been involved in the Linus Project.   The hats are given to elementary schools for children who don't have a hat when it's time for outdoor recess.  The group meets the first Tuesday of each month in the afternoons.  Everyone is welcome to join in.  Come and enjoy each others company as we work together on the shawls.  When the shawls are completed, they are blessed by Fr. Matthews and given to people in hospitals or those who are ill or have lost a loved one.  We also give them to newly baptized members and to graduating seniors who are going off to college.  (When they are in their dorms feeling homesick, they can wrap it around themselves and be reminded that they have a family at Trinity who loves and cares for them).  This is a very meaningful ministry and we are always looking for more people, who knit or crochet, to join us.  If you are interested in being a part of this ministry, please contact Trinity or members of the Prayer Shawl Ministry, Eva Mae Cleator or Juleen Jeske.
