MEALS on WHEELS
Meals on Wheels will be delivering from December 20 - 24.  Three drivers are needed per day.  Please call Julie Johnson if you can help.  Thank you to all the volunteers that help with this Ministry.  God bless your good deed.
BITS & PIECES
  • The TRINITY BLOCK PARTY was held August 14.  The weather was beautiful and the crowd was festive as they ate, danced, sang and dunked Fr. Matthews, Tom and Bob and a few others into the dunk tank.  Deemed successful by the Vestry, the One Thing Committee is currently planning a few fundraisers to help seed next year's block party.  They currently had a delicious "Santa's Pancake Breakfast".  Unfortunately, the 5th largest blizzard in Minnesota history happened to fall on the same weekend, causing poor attendance. 
  • The Youth Group hosted a Pancake Breakfast on November 7 to collect money for the Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Ministry.  Over $400 was raised.   The youth packed and delivered shoeboxes with items and delivered them to Samaritan's Purse, affiliated with Billy Graham's ministry.  The shoeboxes are delivered around the world to children in need. 
  • Our pledge drive is now in process.  Pledge cards are available in the Narthex.  We appreciate early pledging for planning our 2011 budget.  Contact Sam Lucast or any Vestry member if you have questions.   
PENNIES FOR BLANKETS
A group of women in the parish create blankets to give to people who wish to receive them.  A collection for pennies is being done throughout the summer and into the fall.  The pennies will be used to purchase fabric to create these blankets.

If you would like to help collect pennies for the project, there are containers for your pennies in the Narthax area on one of the tables. If you have questions about this outreach project

HOLY EUCHARIST and BIBLE STUDY
On Wednesdays, Trinity offers
Holy Eucharist at 7:00 p.m. 

Bible Study begins the
first Wednesday of the
month at 7:30 p.m. 
in January, March, May, July,
September and November. 

PRAYER LIST
The Prayer List will be updated on the 20th of each month, so please see that your names for those that you wish to be on the prayer list get into the office before that date. We want to include all who need our prayers.
