Inspiration and Fun Stuff

LIBRARY

Trinity has a library chocked full of books for you to read.   There are also books that are available for you to keep.  If you have a book you have finished with or are no longer interested in, or have forgotten belongs to the Trinity Library, please bring it back and leave it on the top of the card catalog for Gladys to check in and reshelf.   Suggestions of books to be added to the Library are very  welcome.  Because the Library is not included in Trinity's operating budget, the Library money exists thanks to the generosity of the Guilds and various individuals.  Donations and windfalls are also welcome.  If you have any questions, contact Gladys Odegaard.

PROPERTY and MAINTENANCE
It's not the Keebler Elves that keep our parish in good physical shape.  It's Gary Hillman, Jay Peterson, and a few other helpers.   If you like to putter and fix, and would like to be a part of the Property Committee, contact one of these fellows.
Meals on Wheels

Trinity Episcopal Church is an active participant in the Anoka-Champlin Meals on Wheels program.  Meals on Wheels provides a warm meal and a daily check-in to the homebound, disabled and seniors in the cities of Anoka and Champlin and has been doing so since 1973.  Anoka County Meals on Wheels has also been in a 35-year partnership with Mercy Hospital, which allows Meals on Wheels to send out some of the best meals in the Twin Cities.  The meals are low-cost so those in need can afford them, but this is done through contributions from the community.  Julie Johnson is the Vice Chair and Volunteer Coordinator from Trinity.  Paul Barks, from Trinity, is a Board Member.

If you would like to help with Meals on Wheels, contact Julie Johnson.  If you would like to participate in the "Adopt a Senior" program, which helps provide meals, contact Beth Shanley at Mercy Hospital )763) 236-8718 or e-mail her at office@anokachamplinmow.org.    You can also visit the website at www.anokachamplinmow.org
